Getting started 4

What does Warbi do, and what doesn't it do?

Warbi opens chats you export from your messaging app and keeps them as archives on your iPhone. You can read and search them, view their photos, videos, voice notes, files and links, and jump to a date. Warbi can also make a chat recap, show stats, list the links, phone numbers, addresses and dates mentioned in a chat, export a chat as PDF and transcribe voice notes.

It also has free tools: Quick Send, chat link and QR code, number fixer, reminders, text formatter, fancy text, kaomoji and symbols, emoji finder, text repeater, text to speech, voice note converter (.opus to M4A/WAV), screenshot stitcher, no-crop profile photo, photo/video compressor and screenshot blur.

What Warbi doesn't do: it doesn't look through your device, access your messaging app, its account, servers or backups, read anything you didn't pick, or bring back deleted messages. Warbi is not a backup service.

How do I export a chat and add it to Warbi?
  1. In your messaging app, open the chat.
  2. Tap the name of the contact or group at the top.
  3. Tap Export Chat.
  4. Choose Attach Media (includes photos, videos and voice notes) or Without Media (text only, smaller file).
  5. In the share sheet, choose Warbi.

Or save the export to the Files app, then in Warbi go to Chats › + › Choose file and pick the .zip or .txt file.

How do I add a chat from screenshots?

When adding a chat, choose From screenshots and pick the chat screenshots from your photos. Warbi reads the text with Apple's on-device text recognition (Vision), so the screenshots are not sent anywhere. Clear, uncropped screenshots give the best results.

What is "Which one is me?" and why do names look the way they do?

An export file lists the people in a chat, but not which one is you. Warbi asks Which one is me? so it can show your messages on your side of the chat.

Names are shown exactly as they appear in the export file. Your messaging app writes them when you export, for example as saved in your contacts at that time, or as phone numbers. Warbi doesn't access your contacts, so it can't change them.

Features 4

How do voice note transcripts work?

Voice note transcripts are part of Warbi Premium and use Apple's speech recognition. When your language supports it, transcription runs on your iPhone. If it doesn't, Warbi asks you first, and only after you agree is the audio sent to Apple's speech service. Apple's privacy policy applies to that. We never receive the audio or the transcript.

Warbi asks for Speech Recognition permission the first time you use transcripts.

How do I export a chat as PDF?

PDF export is part of Warbi Premium. Open the chat in Warbi and choose PDF export. Warbi creates the PDF on your iPhone and opens the share sheet, so you can save it to Files or send it wherever you choose.

What are Recovery Mode and Recently Deleted?

Recovery Mode (Premium) is a recycle bin for Warbi's own archives. An archive deleted inside Warbi waits 7 days in Recently Deleted and can be put back. It does not and cannot bring back messages deleted in any other app.

I used the previous version. How do I get my chats?

Open Warbi's Settings › Chats from the previous version. This is free. It moves the chat files already on your iPhone from the previous version into Warbi.

Warbi Premium 6

What does Warbi Premium include?
  • Unlimited archives (the free plan keeps 2)
  • The full recap and stats
  • Links, numbers, addresses and dates found in a chat
  • Voice note transcripts
  • PDF export
  • Recovery Mode

All tools are free.

How much does it cost? Is there a free trial?

Warbi Premium is a monthly auto-renewing subscription. The price for your country is shown in the App before you buy. Eligible new subscribers get a 3-day free trial.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm, or when the trial ends. It renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

How do I cancel?
  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap your name, then Subscriptions.
  3. Tap Warbi, then Cancel Subscription.

Deleting the App doesn't cancel the subscription. To avoid being charged after a free trial, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.

How do I get a refund?

Payments are handled by Apple, so refunds are too. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, choose Request a refund and select the Warbi purchase. We can't issue refunds ourselves.

I paid but Premium isn't active.

Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple Account you used to subscribe, then tap Restore purchases in Warbi's Settings or on the Premium screen. If it still doesn't work, contact us.

Can I change my plan?

Warbi Premium currently has one plan, billed monthly. You can manage or cancel it any time in Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions › Warbi.

Privacy & data 2

Where are my chats stored? Who can see them?
  • Your archives, media and settings are stored only in Warbi's storage on your iPhone. We never receive them.
  • No account and no sign-in.
  • No analytics, advertising or tracking. Nothing is sold or shared.
  • Warbi only sees the files and photos you pick with the system pickers. It doesn't access your contacts, location, camera or microphone.

Read the full Privacy Policy.

How do I delete my data?

Go to Warbi's Settings › Delete all data, or delete the App. This removes your archives, media and settings from your iPhone. Deleting the App doesn't cancel your subscription.
